I was feeling conflicted and confused about a situation, stuck in a swirling complexity of emotions and thoughts for days. I journaled, I meditated, I took long walks, I spoke with friends, I did somatic therapy. All helped a little... then I talked with Monique and within an hour my emotions settled and I finally felt clear. I could suddenly see the way through the chaos without the noise of so much emotion. This was a new experience for me. I had a personal situation that was devastating. I was suffering for weeks, on loop - sadness, despair, and an indescribable heaviness. It was manifesting in physical symptoms; higher heart rate, inability to get breath past me sternum, and poor sleep. As the session progressed, my heart rate went down to normal, I was able to take deep breaths, and by the end, this clarity revealed itself behind my eyes and a fog lifted from my brain. I can't explain it, but I felt it and a few hours later, I had an epiphany which further magnified the successful result. I feel like I was released from a prison in my own head and heart.
